A Great Match

Leni Langås Flåta joined NECON as Client and Consultant Manager in December. Now, a little over nine months later, she’s more confident than ever in the decision she made.

– Time has flown by – which I take as a very good sign. I truly enjoy working here. What’s impressed me the most are the people – my colleagues, our partners, and our consultants. There’s a high level of competence across the board, and a generous culture where we lift each other up and genuinely live by our values, says Langås Flåta.

A Role with Wide Reach

As Client and Consultant Manager, Leni works closely with both clients and employees – and helping create the right match between the two is something she finds both motivating and meaningful.

– The best part is definitely when we bring in a new consultant who meets a real need for a client. Seeing someone with niche expertise grow into a new role – and both the client and consultant thriving – that’s incredibly rewarding.

She also highlights NECON’s strong social culture.

– I really appreciate that we have so many social gatherings. It builds a sense of community and helps us get to know each other beyond our day-to-day work. Since I joined, we’ve had a Christmas party, mini-golf, The Cube challenge – and soon we’re heading out for dinner on Mount Ulriken. I think these shared experiences help both our people and NECON as a company grow.

A Clear Set of Values

When asked to sum up NECON in three words, Leni chooses: quality, values-driven, and competence.

– We maintain high quality in our processes, and we’re selective about who we bring on board. It’s not about quantity – it’s about finding the right expertise for the right project. And it’s clear that our values are more than just words on a wall. We lift each other up and are genuinely committed to doing things properly and professionally.

Looking Ahead

In her first months, Leni has also helped develop new focus areas within NECON – including cyber security – and she’s looking forward to contributing even more on the development side moving forward.

– I’m proud to have hired talented consultants with highly sought-after skills, including within cyber security. I’m excited to keep exploring how we can use different AI tools internally to work even smarter, more efficiently, and more strategically.
